Grows to 8 feet (2.44 meter) tall by 5 feet (1.52 m) wide. Makes a good hedge and border plant. Tolerates shearing well.

Pretty white flowers on glossy foliage. Flowers in summer and fall.


This is a cross between two Chinese species and is the best known and most popular of the abelias. It is an evergreen above 15 F (-9 C). It will freeze to the ground at 0 F (-18 C) but will usually come back and even flower the same year. A tough, good looking, all purpose shrub.
