Back to How To....    |   How to Build a Fairy Garden Bench

Fairy gardens have gotten very popular.  Many people make their own furniture for their fairy gardens.  This is a simple four twig bench that you can build for your fairies.  You will need:

(2) 1 1/2” twigs with a branch pointing out at a right angle.  The main branch should be about 1/2” in diameter

(2) 3” long and 1/4” in diameter twigs

Take the two twigs with branches coming out of them and glue the two branches together to form a bench.

After that dries, glue two twigs on the top of the branches to form a seat.  Allow to dry and you have a perfect bench for your fairies.

Gardening-tip:

When to Harvest Squash

Winter squash is ready for harvest after the rind hardens and surface color dulls.

The vines will have dried and the skins are hard and can't be scratched with a fingernail.

Make sure you get them in before the first hard frost.
