Growing Tips:

  • Likes full sun

  • This combination of plants is best for summer since they like warmer daytime and nighttime temperatures

  • Remove dead flowers on geraniums and blanket flowers to encourage branching and more flowering

  • Keep soil moist, and feed monthly with a water-soluble fertilizer. Hydrolyzed fish fertilizer mixed with kelp is great

    (Lobelia erinus)
    Is a colorful annual that does well in all zones. A popular and dependable edging plant that comes in either compact or trailing habits. Bright flowers last from early summer until frost

  3. Blanket Flower
    (Gaillardia x grandiflora)
    Perennial hybrid that grows 2 to 4 feet (.61 - 1.22 m) tall and 1-1/2 feet (.46 m) wide. Single or double flowers, with a wide variation in flower colors; includes shades of red and yellow with orange or maroon bands. Long bloom period for a perennial that lasts from early summer to frost
